DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOPS

BALLROOM RUMBA
- Learn how to dance Rumba, one of the most sensual dances in the world! The international ballroom Rumba is a slower dance which corresponds, both in music and in dance to what the Cubans of an older generation called the bolero-son. Rumba is universally recognized as the dance of love. It is danced to slow, sensual music with a Latin beat and features a hip action known as “Cuban Motion.

BALLROOM LATIN DANCES- This class is an introduction to Ballroom Latin dancing. The class is focused around basic body rhythms inherent in Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, & Samba. We will cover the fundamentals of leading and following, as well as introduce you to dance patterns for each Latin dance style. Every two weeks, the class will focus on one of the three Latin Dances.

LADIES STYLING- Spice up your Salsa with our new Ladies Styling Workshop and learn about body isolation techniques, spinning and turning techniques, syncopations, how to integrate Latin hip motion, arm & leg styling, proper foot placements, and more!
