Sergio & Salud Director

Sergio & Salud- Directors of Latin Dance Pro. Sergio Leal and Salud Leon, founders of Latin Dance Pro, have been teaching, performing, competing, and choreographing Salsa as a team since 2000. In early 2005 they were Semi-Finalists at the 10th Annual Mayan Salsa World Competition and took 3rd place in the Professional Division at the World Salsa Federation Competition in Miami. They have won high praise for their teaching method; they simplifie complicated Salsa patterns into easy to learn movements. This results in making their students’ learning experience a greatly enjoyable one.

Sergio Leal- Director of Latin Dance Pro Professional Latin dancer and Master Instructor, Sergio Leal, became a professional dancer and world dance competitor after graduating from Cal Poly Pomona with a Degree in Pure Mathematics in 2000. His dynamic performing skills and unique choreography have entertained audiences across the U.S. and have been featured in award-winning routines ,T.V., film and numerous articles and magazines throughout his dance career. His dance background includes Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Hustle, and Salsa.

Salud Leon Director

Salud Leon- Director of Latin Dance Pro Known for her elegant and graceful style on the dance floor, Salud Leon has captivated and inspired her students and others throughout her dancing career. Salud graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from University of Phoenix in 2005 and she continued to dance, compete, and perform with her partner Sergio Leal thereafter. Her dance training in Salsa, Tango, Hustle and Ballroom, began at age 18, continued through college, and peaked during her career as a health care professional. Her credits include print and commercial modeling as well as appearances in television and film. |
Bobby Gene Instructor

Bobby Gene- Salsa Instructor Professional Salsa Instructor and acting coach Bobby Gene is highly regarded as a caring and talented teacher whose passion is evident in his teaching methods which ensure that every student learns while having fun. Early in his dance career Bobby won 2nd place in the prestigious Conga Room Salsa Competition in L.A., and over the years he continues to compete and perform at numerous, well-known Salsa events. Bobby Gene is also owner and director of Bobby Gene's Actorsclubhouse Inc. where he has successfully trained kids, teens, and adults for commercial TV and film acting. |
Yuliana Basmadzhyan Instructor

Yuliana Basmadzhyan- Argentine Tango Instructor Born and raised in Armenia, Yuliana Basmajyan immigrated to the U.S. in her early adolescent years. It was then that her dance training began in modern Jazz, Flamenco, and Salsa. After years of extensive training and performing, she discovered her true passion in Tango and since then has studied under world-class dancers such as Natalia Hills, Romina Levin, Andrea Misse, Melina Brufman, and Geraldine Rojas. Her performance credits include various Tango showcases and concerts in Calfornia and abroad, inclduing at Nokia Theatre and Wilshire Ebell Theatre. |
Brian Nguyen Instructor

Brian Nguyen- Argentine Tango Instructor Brian Nguyen’s dance career started at age 8 in the art of break dancing in L.A., CA, where he was born and raised. He has performed in many well-known venues including the Hollywood Bowl, Thousand Oaks Civic Center, Lobero Theatre, Royce Hall, and Nokia Theatre, and has studied under Tango masters Javier Rodriguez, Gabriel Misse, Jorge Dispari, Fabian Peralta, Graciela Gonzalez, Francisco Forquera, Geraldine Rojas, among others. Today, he inspires with the quality of his movement and the devotion he has for the traditional style of Argentine Tango. |
Francisco Bugarin Instructor

Francisco Bugarin- Salsa Instructor Francisco's teaching philosophy is that having fun while learning to dance is the key to success. As a Latin dance instructor, he draws from his extensive 9-year long training in martial arts to better illustrate dance form and technique. This, coupled with his lighthearted and welcoming approach allows students to reach their highest learning potential. Francisco has competed and performed at renowned Salsa events & venues such as the L.A. Salsa Congress, Palm Springs Mambo Festival & the Conga Room. He teaches all the Latin dances & specializes in lead and follow.
